从雅，钱塘人。始从海月辩法师，学止观。后入南山天王院，诵法华经五藏，金刚般若经四藏，弥陀经十藏，礼舍利塔千遍，礼释迦三十万拜，弥陀百万拜，佛号五千万声，礼法华一字三拜者三过。心期净土，一生坐不背西。无为杨杰，述安乐国赞三十首以赠。雅欲发起众信，遂于净住寺图九品三辈，刻杰赞于石。或奏雅道行，赐号法宝。一日，无病，面西趺坐而逝。天乐鸣空，室有异香。（佛祖统纪）
