性质:又称促红细胞生成素。一种含唾液酸的糖蛋白。主要由肾脏基质细胞产生的含167个氨基酸残基的糖蛋白激素。分子为直线单链,分子量各实验室报道差异较大,大致在46 000左右。可从恶性贫血病人小便中提取,现已用基因工程方法制取。主要生理机能是诱导正常红血球的发育,即它诱导骨髓细胞分化和增生,降低网织红血球在骨髓内的成熟时间,它还控制已分化的有核红血球合成血红蛋白的速度。用于治疗恶性贫血等疾病。
