国际储备与国际收支的关系
从国际储备对国际收支的作用看，国际储备是进行国际结算的准备金;从国际收支对国际储备的影响看，国际收支不仅是增加国际储备存量的“源”，而且是国际储备支出的“流”。一国国际收支顺差可以增加国际储备，国际储备大多是以这种盈余积聚而成的，而国际收支逆差可以引起国际储备的减少。因此，撇开国际收支谈国际储备或是撇开国际储备谈国际收支，都是不全面的。国际储备与国际收支的基本关系是:(l)国际储备的首要用途是在一国国际收支发生困难时所起的缓冲作用，这种缓冲能使一国避免在国际收支暂发生困难时采取调整行动，或当一国对外支付地位长期恶化，因而调整不可避免时，它能使调整措施分散在一个最适当的时期。如因出口减少或出口价格下降以及其他季节性因素或偶然事件所造成的临时性国际收支逆差，可以动用国际储备来弥补;如果国际收支发生根本性的不平衡，因而一国必须进行调整时，它也可以动用国际储备来缓和调整过程，从而减少因采取紧急行动而付出的代价。(2)国际收支顺差时储备增加，国际收支逆差时储备减少。具体来说，出口、对外投资收益的汇回、其他收人和无报酬转让的收人部分，是一国自有储备的源泉。从而，经常项目顺差将增加自有储备，反之，经常项目逆差会减少自有储备;来自外国直接投资的一部分，用于在本国购买商品，劳务，转化为本国的国际储备，同样，一国对外直接投资，也会增加他国的国际储备;一国对外借款的一部分会被转化为本国的借人储备，同样，一国向外贷款的一部分会充作他国的借人储备。【国际储备与国际收支的关系】国际储备和国际收支是两个既有区别又密切联系的范畴。
