企业确定型决策在市场经济条件下，企业为了实现经营目标，拟定了各种可行性方案，它们需要的条件或自然状态都已经明确，而且每一个方案只有一种确定的结果，决策者只要比较各种方案的结果，就可以选择出比较好的方案。例如，某企业设计了三种适应市场需要增加产量的方案:一是扩大工厂现有的生产能力;二是再新建一个工厂;三是把增产部分的产品转包给别的工厂去生产。如果决策者能准确预测到未来3年或5年市场对产品的需要量，他就可以把实行这三种方案3年或5年内给企业造成的损益情况加以对比，从中选择出能带来最大效益的方案。确定性决策因可知性强，难度低，可靠性和科学性都比较高。如果企业在生产经营活动中这类决策多，当然有利丁企业发展的良性循环。可是企业面临的内外环境相当复杂，尤其是市场需求变化多端，企业要想比较全面、准确、系统地掌握决策所需要的条件，事实上是不可能的。因此，企业在市场经济环境中遇到更多的是非确定型决策。
