This paper studied on the utilizing soft burning kaolin in coal , high pure quartzte and industral alumina as main raw material to synthesize high-purity mullite.
试验研究结论认为:采用煤系轻烧高纯高岭土和工业氧化铝为主要原料和采用高纯石英砂和工业氧化铝为原料都可以合成出外观呈白色的莫来石,且前者合成出的莫来石相含量高于后者;在不添加任何添加剂的条件下,采用煤系轻烧高岭土和工业氧化铝为主要原料,控制Al_2O_3含量为68%、72%的试样中莫来石相含量较高,但Al_2O_3含量为72%的试样中含有少量的刚玉相;添加剂ZnO的加入有利于提高莫来石相含量,添加量为1%最佳,加入2%时,烧成后试样表面出现鼓包;试样中加入≤3%的锆英石有利于提高莫来石的体积密度,当锆英石加入量大于3%时,试样出现大量的玻璃相,体积密度反而降低;。
