睡眠毒素理论
sleep toxication theory
睡眠毒素理论(sleep toxieation theory)一种睡眠理论。认为觉醒时机体内的“疲劳毒素”便聚积起来，当它们在血液中超过一定的水平便会引起睡眠。而睡眠主要是消除“疲劳毒素”，使机体内的有关化学物质恢复正常水平。但目前尚缺乏证据证明，血液中确有作为疲劳信号的毒素出现。例如，人类的连体双胎，虽然共用一个血液循环系统，但双胞胎却可以各自在不同的时间里睡觉。这些事实都不支持毒素理论。 (灸庆麟撰杨立能审)
