还原型谷胱甘肽
又称谷胱甘肽，一种广泛分布的三肽，它们由谷氨酸、半胱氨酸和甘氨酸借肽键联接而成，人红细胞中含量最多，因其分子内有SH基故略称为GSH。GSH的主要生理作用是抗氧化，是某些酶的辅酶，保护细胞膜中含硫氢基(巯基）的蛋白质及酶不被氧化。当细胞内产生少量的H2O2时，GSH在过氧化酶的作用下，使H2O2还原成水而本身则被氧化成氧化型的谷胱甘肽(GSSG）。它还参加小肠内氨基酸的吸收和肾小管对氨基酸的重吸收作用。
