性质:一种原子气体激光器,其激活介质是氦和氖的混合气体。氦气起产生激光的媒介和增加激光输出功率的作用,氖气起产生激光的作用。氦氖激光器在可见光区和红外区可产生多种波长的激光谱线,其中主要的有0.6328μm的红光和1.15μm及3.39μm的红外光。氦氖激光器有非常好的方向性和相干性,其结构简单,寿命长,小巧价廉,频率稳定。在印刷工业的电子分色机、激光照排机、激光制版机、全息照片制片和激光印字机以及计算技术、自动控制等方面用得比较多。
