This paper discusses Wang Wei ′s life story and his poems,pointing out that through their outside appearance of Zen(Buddhism),their inside essence is of nature of Zhuang Zi.

The present paper suggests that the "central village" model for the development of Northwest China s ethnic communities is likely to be an effective alternative for starting the gradual evolution of the ethnic people from village through town to city.
