补充资料：在某大型军工企业的应用
某大型军工企业隶属于中航一集团，国家重点企业，曾是国家“一五”期间的重点工程项目，也是多个军工产品的科研生产基地。随着企业信息化浪潮的推开，该企业在技术改造的新形式下提出公司车间生产应走网络化、信息化道路的思想，努力实现自动化生产及高效管理，从而大幅度提高生产效率，增进效益。所以，该企业的数控生产部门率先提出引进先进设备联网及管理软件的需求。经多方调研、考察、评比，他们最终选定了来自美国的Predator DNC系列产品及解决方案。
一、数控车间概况及存在的诸多问题
企业现有各类数控设备112台，分布于3个车间，涉及到的设备类型有数控铣床、车床、加工中心、镗床、磨床、冲床、钻床、切割机、折弯机、剪板机和CMM等，而数控系统则涵盖了Fanuc、Siemens、Heidenhain、NUM等。
企业内部设有一个网站，统管公司的网络及信息，并且通过光纤已将以太网分布到各车间。几乎每台设备附近都有与之对应的Intranet接入点。每个车间也都配备有多个交换机组成强大的车间局域网。企业已经在1年多前开始使用ERP系统，现正在实施PDM系统。
目前企业在网络信息化制造方面存在的问题是：
(1)设备种类繁多，控制器类型多样，很难实现设备的统一联网通信及集中管理。
(2)依靠笔记本电脑或移动台式机来传输程序，机床及PC的端口频繁的热插拔，很容易被损坏。
(3)控制器存储空间小的设备在加工大型程序时，不得不将整个程序删减成多个小程序，再送到控制器运行，严重阻碍了生产的顺利进行。
(4)机床操作人员经常对程序进行修改编辑，所以同一程序会有多个版本，而且这些程序分散在各部门，未能集中管理，给程序的查找和使用带来了诸多不便。
(5)数控一车间有几台大型的龙门铣床，加工时控制台会不断地上下左右前后移动，这给布线工作造成了很大的困难。
(6)与零件生产相关的一些信息，如程序、蓝图、刀具清单、机床手册、夹具图片等存放混乱，无法做到实时跟踪和管理。
(7)企业现有的ERP系统缺乏底层的生产数据，公司计划层与控制层之间处于真空状态，ERP系统在很大程度上只是一种摆设。另外，PDM系统的实施也给DNC系统提出了新的要求：两者之间应有接口，实现数据共享。
