性质:一种类型的光电化学电池,也称液结太阳能电池。它的辅助电极上发生的反应简单地说,就是半导体电极上光致过程的逆过程。理想情况下,通过此电池工作,光能转换为电能,溶液组成和电极材料不变,只在工作电极和辅助电极组成的回路中产生光电流。对比以半导体p-n结为基础的光伏电池(太阳能电池),其优点是无需超纯的半导体单晶或多晶材料,组装较易;缺点是腐蚀问题不易解决,以致尚未能制成实用的电化学光伏电池。
