性质:利用经富集的稳定核素,加入到待研究的体系中,在同位素交换平衡后,用活化分析测定该体系中该稳定核素的量,从而可给出该核素所代表的元素在体系中的分析及代谢过程。可避免一般放射性示踪的辐射问题,特别适用于研究人体中微量元素的生物效应及环境中长时期的元素动力学行为。作为可活化的稳定核素必须具备下列性质:(1)易于活化,且活化产物易于测量;(2)待研究体系中,这种稳定核素的丰度要低。目前常用的可活化核素有2H,13C,18O,26Mg,36S,41K,46Ca,48Ca,50Cr,56Fe,70Zn,74Se,84Sr,196Hg,204Pb等。
