Taking the calculation of the floods in the danger removal and dam reinforcement of Shenncun Reservoir, and through introducing two methods for the flood calculation, this paper points out two main problems existing currently in the flood calculation for the small and middle-sized reservoir, and expounds the necessity of solving the two problems.
