By means of synthetically applying methods of chustering and stratified sampling, this study confirms conflict s observing highway on the bridge and quantitatively analyses current condition of traffic safety on the Zhengzhou Yellow River Highway Bridge,and puts up some effective measures for the improvement of traffic safety and evaluating method about traffic safety improvement.

By combining with field survey of traffic environment and traffic operation,causes for black spots and accident-prone sections are analyzed,basic researching principles for freeway safety improvement .

Highway sections of insecurity has become a bottleneck of China s overall traffic safety level,carrying traffic safety improvements for it have been inevitable.
