全部注释
1.这是《感遇》十二首中的第一首。感遇即有感于身世际遇的意思。以"感遇"为诗题，是初盛唐之际兴起的风气，陈子昂、张九龄都写了不少"感遇"诗。
2.葳蕤：草木茂盛枝叶纷繁的样子。桂华：即桂花。
3.春有兰花，秋有桂花，因而春天和秋天都自然而然地成为美好的季节。
4.林栖者：栖居山林的隐士。因闻到风送花香而愉悦。坐：因为。
5.此双关语：草木有自然的品质，人有自己的情操志节。这些自然自在的美好品质并不是因别人的好恶而存在的。美人：屈原作品中常以美人喻君主。
此诗咏物言志，拟物为人，抒写洁身自好，孤芳自赏的情怀，直接继承了屈原以香草美人喻君子的手法和忠君爱国、洁身守志的精神，只是他的悲愤情绪含而不露，因而诗歌显得雅正冲淡，委婉蕴藉。《唐诗选脉会通评林》引周敬曰："曲江公诗雅正沉郁，言多造诣，体含风骚，五古直追汉魏深厚处"。《唐诗绪笺》："此诗气高而不怒"。《唐风定》："透骨语出之和平。"《昭昧詹言》："立物各有时，人能识此意，则安命乐天。兴而比，收所谓'运命唯所遇'"。
