通过孤本《集注东坡先生诗前集》现存四卷与通行苏诗百家注的对比,总结以赵次公为代表的早期苏诗注家在总结用典之法、释词、阐释诗意及评论等方面的成就,揭示《集注东坡先生诗前集》的文献价值。

（本生）报恩经四谓“昔有国王，欲得雁肉，使猎师捕雁。时有五百雁过虚空，雁王误落网中。猎师大喜，将取杀之，有一雁来悲鸣投于雁王。五百雁亦徘徊虚空不去。猎师见之，不忍杀雁王，放之使去，国王闻之断雁肉。尔时之王即今阿阇世王，雁王为佛，一雁为阿难，五百雁为五百罗汉也。
