从学术视角对2005年"贾平凹书法事件"作了较为全面的考察,在分析这一书法争议现象的社会成因后,结合"文人书法"盛衰史的梳理给贾书以时空定位,最后从艺术本质对其书法风格特点进行了剖析,认为他书风近年浑厚古茂、斫雕为朴的变化更多地暗合了其文风的某些特点,同样体现着强烈的个性印记和浓郁的地域特色,其书学观及书法实践对当下书坛有一定的启迪作用。
补充资料:《积微居金文说》
      解释铜器铭文的书。杨树达撰。中国科学院考古研究所编辑,1952年9月科学出版社出版。本书以解释清代金文书籍所著录的两周铜器铭文为主,所涉及的铜器有239器,收文286篇,按著作时间先后排列,自1941年至1951年,分为7卷。前代金石文字学家和近代古文字学家所释铭文至多,但同为一器,关于其时代与地区以及文字等方面解说未尽一致。本书作者根据前人所说参考经传子史,一一论定是非。前人无说的,也略作诠解,用力甚勤。其中超逸前人之说处颇多,大抵从字之有假借入手,可供研究金文者参考。
  
  本书最值得注意的一部分是卷首开头"新识字之由来"一章,详述识辨古文字的途径与方法。分14节。第14节说:"古人字形无定,而文义都有定,吾人对此,当以有定决不定。换言之,当以文义定字形,不当泥字形而害文义。文义当,则依字读之可也;依字不通,则当大胆改读之。"他所谓"改读",就是借重文法和声音,用假借字去解释,当然,有些解释得对,有些则不免于牵强。
