| 样板戏 中国文化大革命期间，对现代京剧《智取威虎山》、《海港》、《红灯记》、《沙家浜》、《奇袭白虎团》，现代芭蕾舞剧《红色娘子军》、《白毛女》和交响音乐《沙家浜》的特有称谓。1964年6～7月，在全国京剧革命现代戏会演上，出现了一批优秀剧目。当时，没有任何职务的江青大谈“京剧革命”。之后，她插手由各地文艺工作者创作的《智取威虎山》、《红灯记》等现代京剧和《红色娘子军》、《白毛女》等现代芭蕾舞剧的修改工作，将广大文艺工作者的智慧与劳动结晶据为己有，一变而为“江青亲手培植”的“八个样板戏”。江青强制文艺界学习她树的这几个“样板”，形成一花独放百花凋零的局面。样板戏这一名称是极左路线的产物，后废弃。
