pathological gambling
病理性赌博(patholog;eal gambling)表现为长期沉溺于赌博，如果不赌博便烦躁不安，容易激惹，以致损害到个人及家庭生活和事业L的追求。每当遭受应激如因赌博而失业、通过非法途径借钱而无力还债、诈骗、贪污、偷漏税时，赌博行为更变本加厉。曾反复戒赌或减少赌博，但均失败。估计在美国此类赌徒超过1 00万人。男性多于女性。其父母常有类似行为。诱发因素为15岁以前丧父母、父母离异或遭遗弃;父母教一育不当，如不关心、态度不一致或粗暴;青少年时即有机会赌博;家庭重视物质和经济利益，忽视节俭、计划和收支平衡。这种人常过分自信，十分活跃，花钱大手大脚，认为金钱是造成他所有问题的根源，也是解决问题的惟一办法。当赌注增大时，常撒谎加以掩饰，而不认真考虑节约和恢复收支平衡;当借贷无门时，很可能采取非暴力的不法手段，如贪污、伪造、诈骗等，以获取赌本。这种行为从青少年期开始，时好时坏，倾向长期化。这类人往往被家人和亲友唾弃，一良失前程;有的企图自杀，有的加入非法集团，或因犯罪而入狱。治疗对策为个别及集体心理治疗，改变环境及职业治疗。 (赵亚志撰刘协和审)
