中医工具书。由医家谢观编纂，成书于1921年。近代以来，西学东渐，中医学受到西医的冲击。谢观认为，中医学光明灿烂，古今医籍汗牛充栋，或奥质而难明，或讹夺而莫正。故学医者多，通才者少，致使中医学遭人误解。作者任上海中医学校校长时，即有志补偏救弊，并认为举要删繁，莫如辞典。于是组织学校师生互相考校，凡中医古籍所载，无论为人体生理、病名、证候，以及治疗之法、方药之名，旁逮医书之内容、医家之事迹，无不条分缕析，博罗散佚。费时六七年，搜罗医书至3 000余种，编写7万余条目、300余万字。所搜罗名词，以中国原有医书所载者为限，所辑名词分为病名、药名、方名、身体、医家、医书、医学七大类。70余年来，颇受中国医药界人士之欢迎，多次翻印。通行本为1921年商务印书馆铅印本，中华人民共和国成立后有多种排印本出版。
