      又称读书指导法。教师指导学生独立阅读教科书和参考书以获取知识,并培养独立阅读能力的教学方法。书籍是传递文化、科学、技术知识的重要工具,阅读是学生获取知识的重要途径,阅读能力是自学能力重要的组成部分。学生有了一定的阅读能力,就能进行自学,提高学习效果,离开学校后能独立地主动地获取新知识,较好地适应工作需要。在当代科学技术迅速发展,新知识不断出现的形势下,培养学生的独立阅读能力尤为重要。
  
  阅读指导法的运用,一般要求:充分发挥教科书的作用,通过多种方式指导学生阅读教科书,如布置预习、复习,根据教科书答问,编写阅读提纲等;指导学生精读与略读结合,读思结合,掌握阅读方法,养成朗读、默读和速读等独立阅读能力和习惯,并学会寻找参考资料、利用图书馆和使用各种工具书,以及养成写读书笔记的习惯;引导学生课外阅读,帮助选择书籍、制订阅读计划,广泛涉猎,扩大知识领域,并组织读书经验交流,总结阅读经验,提高阅读效果。
  
  在教学实践中,阅读指导法往往要和其他教学方法结合运用,同时根据不同的年级、教材的特点,采取不同的指导方式。
