      以获得大量的知识与技能为目的组织学习活动的方式或方法。又称有效的学习方式或方法。有多种措施可以达到获得大量知识与技能的目的,提高学习效率就是其中之一。它作为教育心理学研究的一个主要课题已有60~70年的历史了。研究揭示了有效学习的各种方式或方法,如发现学习、接受学习、指导学习、掌握学习等等,还有一系列对比,如意义学习和机械学习、集中学习和分散学习、整体学习和部分学习等等。学与教是师生的双边活动,有效的学往往与有效的教紧密联系,例如与发现学习、接受学习相对应的教常被称为发现教学、接受教学或讲解教学。虽然有效学习(教学)的方式或方法是多样的,但总的目标应是双重的:学生既要掌握特定的知识与技能,又要学会如何学习、如何思考、如何解决问题。优秀教师都力图促使学生有效地掌握特定的知识与技能,并且引导学生成为一个有一定创造能力的学习者。
