简称“院线”。电影放映行业一种具有垄断性的经营体制。经营者为发展和保护其经营利益，在某些城市或地区，掌握相当数量的电影院，建立放映网络，借以垄断某国或某一电影制片公司新版影片的公映。中国最早出现的电影院线，是本世纪初至20年代中期，由西班牙电影商人雷玛斯在上海建立的，由虹口、夏令配克、维多利亚等七家电影院组成的电影院线；其后中国影戏院公司在平、津、沪等地也建成相当规模的电影院线；20年代初中国电影资本家罗明佑在华北、东北建立电影院线；30年代，天一影片公司企业家邵氏兄弟在新加坡、马亚西亚等地组建南洋电影院线。现在港台等地仍有些电影发行放映商采用电影院线体制。改革开放后，上海重新实行院线体制。
