1.原址在江苏省江阴县城内。清光绪九年江苏学政黄体芳创立。以经史词章教授学生。王先谦曾讲学于此，辑成《皇清经解续编》一四三○卷，又刊《南菁丛书》及《南菁札记》。废科举后，改为南菁学校。
