  考试焦虑(examination anxiety)在考试状况下所出现的紧张、担心、不安、心痛、出汗等身心变化。20世纪50年代初,曼德勒和萨拉森(Mandler,G·和sarason,5.)开始对此进行研究,发表了考试焦虑问卷(Test AnxietyQuestionnaive,TAQ),用来测量考试焦虑的强度,然后研究它与学习的关系。他们发现,在过去考试中所形成的焦虑会使人产生逃避考试状况的情感和对失败的恐惧与无力感(helplessness)。一般认为,考试焦虑与学习成绩(特别是考试成绩)呈负相关。但一些研究表明,它们之间的关系比较复杂:当课题简单时,考试焦虑会使学习成绩提高;而当课题复杂时,考试焦虑会使学习成绩下降。 (周国怕撰成立夫审)
