As recirculation zone formed by coastal water flow make pollutants accumulation so as to lead the environment deterioration,a 3-points high order compact(HOC) difference scheme was used in high accuracy numerical computation of the vortex-stream function equations and pollutants convection diffusion equation to study its formation mechanism and law of pollutants accumulation.
