植物形态：一年生草本，全体疏生细白毛，有香气。植株割下后，香气逾时更浓。高达90厘米，直立，多分枝，绿色，有纵纹。叶互生，3小叶，叶柄长1~2厘米，托叶线形，绿色；小叶3片，中间1片有柄叶片长椭圆形至披针形，长2厘米，基部楔形，先端钝，边缘在中部以上有尖齿，下部全缘，叶脉伸至齿边缘，表面绿色，背面淡绿色，两面均疏生细毛。花黄色，蝶形，腋生总状花序，萼钟状，5裂，旗瓣长于翼瓣，雄蕊10枚，两体，雌蕊1枚。荚果倒卵形，下垂。 生态分布：产我国东北、华北、内蒙、西北、冬部各地；常生于沟边或路旁较潮湿处。 药用部分：全草入药，秋季采收。 用途：性味苦、凉、淡，无毒。能清热解毒，杀虫利小便。治皮肤疤，丹风，赤白痢、淋病。用量：3~5钱。
