性质:与NGF有相同活性,是NGF类家族中的一员,与NGF的氨基酸序列有45%同源。对胆碱能、肾上腺素能和多巴胺能的细胞生存和生长起着作用。优先作用于中枢神经系统细胞,尤其是海马区里的细胞。可促进大脑黑质(substanitia nigra)细胞的存活,促进基部前脑区神经元的生长。有可能用于治疗帕金森氏症的及阿尔茨海默氏病。
