性质: 一种电化学研究方法。开始时(t=0)电极电势从开路突跃至某一指定恒值,直至实验结束,测量电流随时间的变化(计时电流法)或电量随时间的变化(计时电量法),从而计算电极等效电路中各元件的数值,获得相应电极反应的有关参数。电势阶跃法可用于测量电极反应的等效阻抗和双电层电容,也常用于测量粗糙多孔表面的双电层电容并得到电极真实表面积。
