    SEBS是饱和型SBS,或称氢化SBS,是由特种线型SBS加氢使双键饱和而制得.结构式见图。SBS在催化剂存在下适度定向加氢.则使聚丁二烯链段氢化成聚乙烯(E)和聚丁烯(B)链段,故称为SEBS。同样,SIS氢化后使其中的聚异戊二烯转变为聚乙烯(E)和聚丙烯链段,则得饱和型SIS(SEPS)。
    氢化SBS一般比较坚硬,刚性较强,模量较高,拉伸强度比加氢前有显著提高.扯断伸长率下降。SEBS由于分子链中双键没有或甚少,放对光、氢、臭氧的耐老化性能明显变好。
