性质：使液体从细孔喷射出来形成雾状微小液滴的喷出装置。有加压喷嘴和气流喷嘴两种。液体经加压进入喷嘴再呈雾状喷出的称为加压喷嘴；液体由细孔流出，在其周围喷射高速气体使液体呈雾状喷出的称为气流式喷嘴。根据喷雾的要求，有各种加压喷嘴：在很窄宽度内喷出液体使之呈膜状，由夹心圆锥喷嘴喷出使液体分散成圆锥面状，由空心圆锥嘴喷出使液体呈圆锥蕊状。气体吸收、调湿、凉水塔等设备常用前两种喷嘴，喷雾干燥常用最后一种形式的加压喷嘴。喷雾压力的范围是几个大气压至几百个大气压。气流式喷嘴主要用和重油燃烧的燃烧嘴，有进也用于黏性很大的膏糊状物料的喷雾干燥。
