蓄冷器(regenerator)

是一种回热式热交换器,在低温循环中,它与热交换器的功能相同,即通过热量的交换,达到积蓄冷量的目的。蓄冷器只有一个通道。冷、热流体分别交替通过,它的传热过程在时间上分为加热与冷却两个阶段。在加热阶段,热流体通过蓄冷器,使蓄冷器中填料被加热,同时流体被冷却;在冷却阶段,冷流体反向通过蓄冷器,使蓄冷器填料被冷却而流体被加热,由于它在冷却热流体的过程会产生低温的物理吸附,使流体得到纯化。它的填料可用铜丝绒、不锈钢丝绒、小铅丸、铝矾及硫化铕等。它的比表面积可达3000~6000m2/m3,热交换的效率可达99,流阻小,流体经过时的压降也小,在液化器和气体制冷机中被广泛的使用。
