| 航天器发射场 spacecraft launchng complex 发射航天器的特定区域。场区内有整套试验设施和设备，用以装配、贮存、检测和发射航天器，测量飞行轨道，发送控制指令，接收和处理遥测信息。航天器发射场的组成和功能与导弹试验靶场基本相同，有的是根据航天试验的特殊需要专门建造的。发射场通常建在人烟稀少、地势平坦、视野开阔、气候和气象条件适宜的地方，并且应考虑所发射方向的主动段航区上没有大城市、重要工程。发射地球静止轨道卫星或小倾角轨道航天器的发射场，宜选择在地球赤道附近或低纬度地区，以减少入轨所需要的推进能量。
