This dissertation discussed radial rub from two reasons which caused radial rub, calculated the distortional tendency and distortional quantity of the high pressure inner cylinder in different operation conditions, presented the writer’s standpoint about the distortion and expounded the reason of the distortion.

To evaluate the remaining life of a gun accurately,the relation between gun bore\'s radial wear and the decreasing quantity of muzzle velocity were researched,then a characteristic model was suggested using the least square support vector machine method.
