游戏疗法(play therapy)适用于儿童的一种集体治疗方法。由哈哥一贺尔穆斯(hug一he一lmuth)首先应用于儿童精神病的治疗中，以后经克莱因(Klein，M.)和安娜·弗洛伊德(Freud，A.)根据精神分析理论对此作了进一步的发展。这种治疗方法是通过游戏这个中间媒介或方式(如玩偶、绘画、泥塑)把儿童潜意识的内心冲突和幻想轻松自由地投射出来例如，在玩偶过程中，情绪抑郁的儿童可能拿出婴儿形娃娃用手打或用脚踢踩等:对母亲抱有敌意的儿童，叮能对具有母亲形象的玩具进行攻击:要求母爱的儿童，可能将儿童形的娃娃抱在怀中。在即兴绘画过程中，儿童可能通过不同的画面来表露出内心世界的活动。治疗者应与儿童一起进行游戏活动，建立活泼而随和的气氛，诱一导儿童表露其思想和感情，发现其症结所在。然后用易为儿童理解的言语和比喻进行分析和解释，促使其自知力发展、人格改变和现实检验能力的增长。游戏治疗不应理解为游戏本身有治疗作用，而是治疗者通过游戏了解儿童内心的矛盾，进行分析治疗。 (杨津广撰梁宝勇审)
