After enriched by flash, benzoic acid-containing fraction was obtained below 210 ℃ and benzyl benzoate-fluorenone-containing fraction was between 220 and 260 ℃,then these fractions were separated by vacuum distillation respectively.

The fraction of benzyl benzoate and fluorenone were enriched from benzoic acid residua by flash distillation,then separated by vacuum batch distillation,so the recovery of benzoic acid residua was implemented.

性质:黄色针状结晶,熔点340℃(升华)。

制备方法:将2-乙酰芴和冰醋酸一起搅拌,加热,使之溶解。分次加入粉状二水合重铬酸钠,加热回流,于1.5h内滴加乙酐。然后将热的混合物倾入热水中,搅拌悬浮液,过滤,滤饼用2%硫酸洗涤,将滤饼加入5%氢氧化钾溶液中,搅拌,加热至80℃左右,过滤,再用氢氧化钾溶液洗涤。将钾盐溶液加热到70℃,搅拌,滴加18%盐酸,加热升温至85℃,析出芴酮-2-羧酸。再经煮沸,过滤,用热水洗去酸中游离的氯化钾,干燥而得成品。

用途:用于有机合成。
