性质:又称磷酸胆碱胞嘧啶核苷酸转移酶。在真核生物或者说在动物细胞中合成磷脂酰胆碱的补救途径(salvage pathway),即是占主导地位的合成途径中所必须具备的酶之一,系胞液酶。催化的反应为:磷酸胆碱+CTPCDP-胆碱+PPi其中CTP为胞苷三磷酸;CDP-胆碱为胞苷二磷酸胆碱;PPi为焦磷酸(pyrophosphate)。该催化反应的产物CDP-胆碱,如在甘油二酯的存在下,经另一个转移酶,即磷酸胆碱转移酶催化后,就可获得磷脂酰胆碱。
