性质:一类由半乳糖单体组成的多糖。存在于多种植物种子和木材中,主要由β-1→4键合的D-吡喃半乳糖残基组成,同时有一部分由1→6键合的半乳糖残基,木材来源半乳聚糖都属于半纤维素,果胶中的半乳聚糖一般以阿拉伯半乳聚糖的形式存在。琼脂属于这类聚糖。
