| 石陨石 stony meteorite 陨石的一类。主要由硅酸盐组成，其次是铁镍金属，含少量铁的硫化物。石陨石是陨石中最常见的一类，占已发现陨石的大部分。石陨石可分为两类：①球粒陨石。占石陨石的绝大部分。陨石内部散布着许多球粒结构 ，球粒一般为0.1～20毫米大小，主要成分是橄榄石和辉石。这种球粒结构在地球岩石中还未见到。在球粒之间存在细小的基质物质，由一些结晶程度不同的橄榄石、辉石、长石、铁镍金属和陨硫铁等组成。按矿物成分、化学组成和结构特征，球粒陨石又可分为顽火辉石球粒陨石（E群）、普通球粒陨石（O群）和碳质球粒陨石（C群）。普通球粒陨石又分为3个亚群：高铁群，又称古铜辉石球粒陨石；低铁群，又称紫苏辉石球粒陨石；低铁低金属群，又称橄榄石紫苏辉石球粒陨石。②无球粒陨石。其内部不含球粒，是一种粗粒的晶质陨石，与玄武岩相似。在无球粒陨石中，主要成分是奥长石，橄榄石的含量比球粒陨石少。 |
