This study was conducted to determine concentrations of uranium, radium, thorium and manganese, cadmium, chromium, lead in edible parts of rice (Oryza sativa), Chinese cabbage (Brassica pekinensis), tea (Camellia sinensis) and orange (Citrus reticulate) grown in an area as well as soil samples collected near a uranium smelter.
