In order to improve the performance of highway safety,decrease the run-off-road accidents and improve the design of highway roadside safety,the author introduced some new concepts and principles of roadside safety design and put forward systematic countermeasures to improve the roadside safety.
为改善公路安全性能,降低车辆冲出路外的路侧事故,提高路侧安全设计水平,阐述了公路路侧设计理念,结合实施交通部公路安全保障工程的实际经验,总结提出了改善我国公路路侧安全的系统化对策:1)防止车辆驶离行车道冲出路外;2)降低冲出路外车辆发生碰撞和侧翻事故的可能性;3)减轻冲出路外车辆发生碰撞事故后的严重性。
