m128拖式地雷撒布器是一种近距离抛撒布雷系统，用于布撒 m74防步兵地雷和 m75防坦克地雷。该系统安装在由m794平板拖车改进的命名为 xm979的拖车上，由卡车或履带式车辆牵引。整个布雷装置包括一台40马力柴油机，一个液压泵和四个液压马达。雷仓包括两个雷箱，平行配置在拖车上，呈鼓形，其外圆筒里有固定的螺旋形导轨，内圆筒里装有几个转动的棍子，迫使地雷沿螺旋形导轨运动，进入抛雷器。抛雷器由一个转轮和一个圆形外壳构成，它的两边各有一个雷槽，用于将地雷装入雷仓。
