性质:用对氢离子活度有电势响应的玻璃薄膜制成的膜电极,是常用的氢离子指示电极。它通常为圆球形,内置0.1mol/L盐酸和氯化银电极或甘汞电极。使用前浸在纯水中使表面形成一薄层溶胀层,使用时将它和另一参比电极放入待测溶液中组成电池,电池电势与溶液pH值直接相关。由于存在不对称电势、液接电势等因素,还不能由此电池电势直接求得pH值,而采用标准缓冲溶液来“标定”,根据pH的定义式算得。玻璃电极不受氧化剂、还原剂和其他杂质的影响,pH测量范围宽广,应用广泛。
