性质:又称硅酸钡钛矿。呈蓝色、紫红色、粉红色、白色或无色。六方晶系。单晶体成复三方双锥状,集合体成板状。玻璃光泽,条痕无色。短波紫外线照射下发出浅蓝色荧光。解理不完全。断口为贝壳状。性脆。密度3.44~3.69g/cm3(实测)。莫氏硬度6.50~6.75。常与硅钠钡钛石、钠沸石等共生。用作制取水泥、陶瓷、耐火材料等的原料。
