性质:又称填料函填料或螺旋盘根。主要用于填塞反应釜、搅拌器、泵等旋转轴或往复活塞杆及阀杆轴贯通处的填料函(stuffing box),以抑止旋转或往复运动的轴杆处的低压蒸汽、气体、热水、溶液及各种介质的泄漏。常以棉麻、石棉、聚四氟乙烯、碳纤维、金属箔等单独或几种材料组合,经捻合、编织或与橡胶并用制成,为条状产品。横断面有正方形、梯形、圆形等,填料条按其截面大小绕成不同直径的螺旋状制品,使用时将其切断成适当周长的环,卷于轴的四周,依次塞入填料函中,用盖锁紧,完成密封。
