性质:又称尿卟啉原I合成酶。参与血红素生物合成中间过程的酶。催化4分子卟胆原(也称胆色素原)脱氨生成线性四吡咯,故也称胆色素原脱氨酶。所生成的线性四吡咯在尿卟啉原III同合成酶(UPG III cosynthase)催化下生成尿卟啉原III;若无UPG III同合成酶存在时可自然环化生成尿卟啉原I。正常生理情况下,UPG III的生成是主要途径,两者之比为10000。
