体长6～7毫米。有金属光泽，头与腹部末 2节黑色；前胸与腹部前4节红褐色，鞘翅蓝色,上颚与下颚须黄褐色、端部3节略显灰褐色,触角暗色,前3、4节黄褐色;足黄褐色,腿节端部、胫节与跗节基部灰褐色。头圆形,布有大的刻点，腹眼中部光滑。触角11节，丝状。前胸背板椭圆形，后方稍宽，鞘翅短，长方形,密布大刻点,末端截形,腹部两侧平,大部外露,末端具1对尾状突起。跗节5节。
