概 述
加拿大军方决定装备比利时fn fal 7.62ｍｍ步枪以后，对其重枪管型ｆｎ ｆａｌ ５０－４１式７．６２ｍｍ 步枪也感兴趣，因为该枪通常可以作轻机枪使用。加拿大获得了该枪特许生产，并称其为ｃ２式。ｃ２ａ１则是ｃ２的改进型。该枪已停止生产，现装备加拿大陆军作班用机枪使用。
结构特点
1.枪
ｃ２式步枪同重枪管型ｆｎ ｆａｌ５０－４1式步枪相比，主要改进之处是，取消了导气筒上的护木，暴露的活塞筒位于前握把上方。所以在外观上与原型枪不完全一样。ｃ２ａ１式步枪用两件式击针和塑料提把取代了ｃ２式步枪的击针和提把。其他方面的结构与ｆｎ ｆａｌ步枪相同。
2.瞄准装置
该枪采用柱形准星和ｃ１式７．６２ｍｍ步枪相同的圆盘形觇孔式表尺。表尺射程调整范围为２００～９００ｍ。
