hU’an护岸(bank proteetion)保护堤岸的河工建筑物。一般多在岸坡迎水面用抗冲材料做成覆盖层。有的在两个丁坝之间修筑防护工程，用以防御回溜淘刷。护岸一般多用块石，混凝土块、混凝土板、沥青混凝土、土水泥、尼龙编织物与塑料片等也逐渐使用。此外，还有以钢板桩或钢筋混凝土板桩组成的岸壁式护岸。(汪天翔闲文会)
