【保险利益】投保人或被保险人对保险标的所具有的法律承认的利益。保险合同得以成立的重要原则之一。按照这个原则，财产保险在保险事故发生时，人身保险在保险合同成立时，投保人或被保险人对于保险标的必须具有保险利益，否则保险合同失去效力。在保险活动中坚持保险利益原则的意义:①防止把保险变成赌博。如果投保人在保险标的上始终没有保险利益而能获得赔偿，则会使保险与赌博之间的区别归于消失。②防止道德危险。如果与所保财产、生命或身体始终没有利害关系的人，可以任意利用保险，而在保险事故发生后获得赔偿，投保人就可以任意利用他人的财产、生命或身体投保，然后促使保险事故发生，以图取得保险金。而坚持保险利益原则即可防止这种道德危险的发生。③保险利益在一定场合可以表现为在可保利益范围内的货币形式的保险价值，从而成为赔偿的最高限额。
